You think you know Broadway? We bet you’ve never experienced it like this! We recently wrapped up a visit to Madame Tussauds New York Presents Broadway! and we were in Heaven! We were so excited to be invited to experience the magic of Broadway like never before in an interactive journey behind the scenes of iconic Broadway Shows. Speaking from two guys who know their way around a Broadway stage, you will definitely want to stop by and play your part at this wildly immersive installation!
Grab your musical-loving friends and family and prepare to be catapulted into the world of Broadway. This was such a fun experience to see the stage brought to life like we’ve never seen it before. You won’t believe the authenticity and precision in this one-of-a-kind experience. If your friends require a little convincing, just mention that rumor has it there have been reports of Ru Paul and Thor sightings in the hallways of the exhibit!
Upon entering, you walk through a labyrinth of mirrors which are a bit disorienting, but really set the tone for what’s to come. There is also a full bar available at the exhibit, which we highly recommend and don’t forget to tip your bartenders. Then, you will be physically swept through some of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most iconic masterpieces, including The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and The Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita, Sunset Boulevard and Cats. If you thought the trailer for the upcoming Cats movie was intense, wait until you see these fierce felines up close and personal (T-Swift bedazzled catnip shaker not included). Bret thoroughly enjoyed the Phantom installment and pouring out his heart and soul...with a lipsync performance. Stephen spent some good quality time in the mirror touching up his makeup while Glenn Close supervised!
Warm up those vocal chords, get ready to jump into the world of Broadway and play your part on and off stage in the heart of Times Square, only at Madame Tussauds New York!As a treat for our incredible friends reading this post, if you use our code BROADWAYHUSBANDS or mention us at the entrance, you can get $5 off! If you are somehow still not convinced to get your tickets right this very second, check out our video above and see Bretscare the shorts off of an innocent museum-goer while posing like one of the statues!
